Hey everyone, it’s Raquel here with you today sharing a new layout that was created using the November kits and the new weekly sketch. Here is the layout that I created:

I was inspired by the stripes running along the background however a mixed media stripe isn’t something I would normally add to my layout. So I chose to use the Heidi Swapp paper from the Main kit as to coincide with this background. Instead of stripes running vertically down my page I used a strip of card stock and and one of patterned paper. I then used the placement of the photos and embellishments from the sketch to create a layout based on it, in my style. I adore how soft these November kits are, don’t you agree?!

The Heidi Swapp envelopes are the perfect addition to a page where you have the ability to add hidden journaling. These envelopes were an addition to the November Embellishment kits. I also layered ephemera under and around the photo.

I did add to this layout a small touch of Hip Kit exclusive embellishments, these were the wood veneer and also the puffy stickers. They added a nice finishing touch.

I added subtle stitching to the edges of both the white card stock and the sheet of patterned paper.

The embellishment clusters that I added to the page were mainly comprised again of Heidi Swapp ephemera and stickers. Don’t you just love when companies make embellishments that make creating layouts so easy and enjoyable?!?
