Hello and Happy New Year to Everyone!

I am sharing my HKC December Documented Album with you today.

I’ll show you all the Pages here on the Blog and I have created a Flip through Video which can be found on my Youtube Channel.

I really enjoyed the size of this album. The pages are about 7″x9″ which is just not too big or too small.

I’m also stoked about all the possibillities these pocked pages offer to us paper crafters, when we’re working “outside the pockets”…

I think my opening page is a good example for this new found love. i just used the pocket as a base for my page and added Papers, HKC Die Cuts and handmade tassel onto it. Sewing works just perfect to adhere these papers to the pocket pages!

I have punched out all the numbers that were on the Pebbles Advent Calendar which was also included in the kit. These numbers are another common thread I have included to the whole album.

The HCK Exclusive Journaling Cards just fit perfectly into these pockets. That made it really easy to assemble quick and easy (but still beautiful) pages when life was too busy to spend hours on the crafting table.

All the puffy stickers and chipboard pieces that were included in the kit were more than welcome helpers to add some extra details and dimension, if added onto the pockets.

I even included some interactive elements like the Santa Clause flap, my “mini in the mini” or the tag on 15th. They are just some little extras that add a welcome variety to the album.

Some days I added my journaling just in a quick, handwritten way. On other days I used my good old typewriter to document my thoughts or little stories.

In the end I included the Shimmerz that came with the HKC December Color Kit with some of the HKC Cutfiles.
