Welcome back to the Hip Kit Club blog and welcome to mixed media Monday. The layout I am sharing with you today was created using lots of white gesso and the beautiful Shimmerz vibes and creameez products.

When you are working with lots of different mixed media products it’s a good idea to dry between each of your layers. This will help aviod your page bending too much and create dimension between your different colours and textures.
Don’t be frightened of mixed media. I remember when I first purchased some spray and I was trying so hard to make my mists and paints to go exactly the way I wanted it and it never did. What I soon realised is that mixed media in scrapbooking is just another layer, like mounting your photos and it all comes together in the end.
