Mini Album | Jana McCarthy

Hi everyone, Jana here and i am so excited to share my Mini Album with you.
The album is about my “way of life”, about all the creative things i love to do! I mean, the October 2018 Kits are full of Paige Evans “Whimsical” Collection and, as you know, everything calls for crafting! So, i printed out some photos and started this project.

My base for this album was a piece of cardstock in the size 5″ x 12″ with some scored lines at 5″ and 7″ – the inner pages are 5″ x 11″ (round about). The following papers were scored at 5 1/8″ and 6 7/8″ the last page at 5 7/8″ and 6 1/8″. I just needed to glue them down in the middle section and it looks like they were just plugged into each other. Very easy to make and with enough space between each page. I knew i wanted to use a lot of dimension…

I can close the album with a strip of patterned paper and paper clip. I glued a flower cluster on top and a little sticker. Know i want to give you a look from each page. Please, grab some coffee or tea and enjoy the pictures – there a few 😉

I also added some mixed media to some of the pages. I started with white acrylic paint and some texture paste. But also added some splatters and colors on top. Really love how this turned out! Some of the pages are curled but i don´t care, because i love the messy look of it.

sewing is a big part of my life and i really love my shelves filled with awesome fabrics. This makes me so happy!!

The right pictures shows my sewing area. I love how this mini album turned out. It took some time and i needed to print more photos, twice! But totally worth the time!

I used the Color Kit, the Embellishment Kit, Project Life and Main Kit and also the Cardstock Kit
