I’m back on the blog today to share a moodboard inspired layout.

I wanted to create something using the beautiful colors and also the clouds.
To start, I chose three papers from the cardstock kit. To make the colors more light and pastel, I put gesso on the paper. Then I handcut clouds out of the three sheets of paper.
I placed the clouds on my white sheet, attaching them only on the bottom, so that I could place thick foam squares underneath the top, to make them stand out and create a lot of dimension.
I matted my picture with some of the papers from the paper kit and placed it underneath the clouds. Then I started embellishing the layout. I used some ephemera flowers from the Paige Evans Whimsical collection (Embellishment kit) and placed them between the clouds and under the picture. I like the pops of color peaking out behind the clouds.
Then I embellished with some punched out stars, star stickers from the Paige Evans sticker sheet, puffy stickers from the same collection (Project Life Kit) and splatters of color.
As a title, I used the super cute colorful mini foam thickers, also from the Paige Evans collection. (Project Life Kit). Those thickers are the cutest, you can use them on so many projects! 🙂
To finish everything, I used some of the Jen Hadfield word stickers (Embellishment Kit) and splattered some more paint.
