Good morning! Hopefully, you are as excited as I am that we have finally made it to the weekend and are getting ready to enjoy some crafty time! Today I am sharing an idea for how to use the amazing stamp and die set that is included in the May Color Kit.

Now in full disclosure, I am not a huge stamper. However, when I saw this set I got excited. I loved that the matching circle dies were included in the Vicki Boutin set because this meant I didn’t have to stamp straight onto my layout. I am a huge chicken when it comes to adding any permanent ink to layouts and having the option of stamping on extra cardstock that was sized perfectly for the stamps totally wiped out the usual anxiety I get when stamping.

As you can see, I went ahead and treated the stamped circles as embellishments and included several on my page. This worked especially well because I was able to add more yellow to my page to bring out those great birds on the colorful patterned paper.

I can certainly see this stamp set becoming a staple in my scrapbooking!
