The first thing you are going to want to do it download a copy of the FREE subscriber leaf cut file found in our DOWNLOADS section of our website. Once you have those cut on watercolor paper from the October color kit, grab the Shimmerz paints:

  • Mango Tango Shimmering Mist
  • Lapis Dance Creameez Watercolor
  • Old Yeller Inklings Shimmering Watercolor

Activate the Creameez & Shimmering with water & set aside to develop. Whist you are waiting you can trim all the paper pieces for the cards. I used papers from the October Main kit from Pinkfresh Studio. I love their vibrant colors & trendy patterns.

Paint the leaves in gold & blue with splatters of Mango Tango for a pop of contrast color.  Don’t you love how the Dear Lizzy washi tape in blue offsets the other warm colors beautifully?

Arrange your ephemera & leaves, one of the exclusive wood veneer leaves I designed, adds the perfect amount texture to the little arrangement.

This card base was made from the left over cardstock from the previous card, I love to be as economical as possible when making cards. Paper strips roughly fringed makes for a fab 3 D skirt, on top of which I placed the other elements.

Again I used chipboard, puffies & papers from Pinkfresh Studio with great success. The little daisies were fussy cut from the Jen Hadfield paper. Slipping them under the fringe layers adds unexpected interest.
