Creating a fun title with Alphas with Michelle

Creating an interesting and unique title with the Alphas in my kit was the aim of the game for my most recent layout featuring the June 2017 Hip Kits!  I have totally enjoyed creating this fun and happy layout!

I initially, began my layout with a grid design and with the four project life cards from the June 2017 Project Life Kit as a matt for each of my three photos.  The colour combo of Pink, Aqua and Colbalt blue with hints of gold is one of my favourites right now.  So to break up the grid design and add another layout of interest I added the cobalt blue horizontal stripe patterned paper (HKC Exclusive!) and the Ombre Blue (Paige Taylor Evans No. 4 paper) across the page.

To create my title I decided to create a feature on my page as well by adding it around the edges of the corner of my grid design and basically add in arrows to show direction in which the title reads.  This is a great way of adding a title when your page is already quite filled with product and photos as sometimes this can be a real balancing act!

Next, to link all my grids together I used the teal blue butterfly and layered it with the ‘Fun’ circle from the Vicki Boutin Ephemera from the June 2017 Main Kit with the gorgeous ‘make’ scripted word because that was basically what the kids were doing whilst I was away and they were home with their dad!

On my last project life card that doesn’t have a photo I have used it as negative space and added in a label sticker from the Vicki Boutin label stickers pack from the June 2017 Project Life kit and some of the Crate Paper Oasis stickers from the June 2017 Embellishment Kit.

I hope you have enjoyed my layout today and I have given you a new way of creating fun and interesting titles with Alphas!  We are super lucky with the Hip Kits to get so many cool Alphabets to play with and June is no exception!
