Hello. It’s Anna here, or I should rather say – a poor copy of Missy Whidden 🙂 My project for this week was inspired by Missy’s style and her favourite techniques. I wanted to try her messy style with gesso and adding mists with plastic foil. Not that I have never done this before but my “mess” usually looks different.

This is what I ended up with. I chose this contrasting paper from Dear Lizzy “Lovely day” collection. You can find in both in March Main Kit and March Paper Kit.

I used cut files designed by Jana to cut the wreath and flowers using different patterned papers. I also cut polaroid frames and “favorite” inscription. Before I started gluing them, I first cover the inside of the wreath with gesso and dry brush. Then I added a blue mist using a plastic foil.

Next, I added my leaves and flowers and sew them around with back thread. It was an experiment – I didn’t know where I was going with that. After adding a pictures and “favorite” inscription I started embellishing my page using Pinkfresh Studio puffy stickers from Project Life Kit and leatherette stickers from Main Kit.

I went crazy adding more flowers from “Oh my heart” ephemera pack and two flags from Dear Lizzy “Lovely day” collection. You can find them in Embellishment Kit.

I finished my tittle by adding YOU ARE MY PERSON letters from black foam Thickers from Project Life Kit.
To be honest, I must say that this is not my most favorite page. I like it, but I still prefer more pink mess 😀 But I am happy that I tried something new. Maybe someday I will create some Anna – Missy hybrid 😀
Thank You for stopping by and see You next week on Facebook.
