Merry Christmas, friends!! Can you believe the day is finally here? I hope this post finds you full of comfort and joy this holiday season!
Today, I’m going to share with you another 2016 layout for my Project Life album. A couple of things to note:
1. The early darkness has taken its toll on my photos, so I did the only thing I knew to save the… change them to black and white.
2. I was challenged today to use punches! Now, in full disclosure (because its Christmas of course), I don’t own a lot of punches. To me, they take up too much room for such a single use item. So, I took some creative liberties and used dies instead…but you could of course achieve the same result using punches!
Want to create layouts like this? Our monthly kits include coordinated papers, embellishments, and supplies to bring your scrapbook pages to life.

On to the layout! Using a 3″ circle die, I cut a circle from the card stock add-on kit to add as my weekly title card. For some extra pizzazz, I created a shaker card using the confetti from the December Documented kit. I adore how this turned out.
To create a visual triangle, I used that same die and cut out the pictures of my dogs so I had two 3″ circle photos of them right below the title. I adhered them onto the cards in the kit and added some word phrase stickers stapled on for extra effect.

For some extra embellishment, I pulled the simple tree card and decorated it with the puffy stickers from the kit and a washi star at the top. I finished the card off with a couple washi strips and another phrase sticker.

Finally, I chose to keep the last card simple by just adhering a die cut from the Scrapbook it and keeping the photo as is.

That’s it! I hope you enjoyed this festive layout and you’ll give punches (or dies) a go this week in your spreads.
From the bottom of my heart, I wish you and your family a safe and happy holiday season!
