Do you like long titles? I tried this idea with the page I am sharing today, using the fabulous wood veneer words included in the November kits from Crate Paper. Given the entire pack was snow themed, I was able to use x3 of the words in a long, conversational title.
Snowflakes are cold…Brrrr! by Kim Watson
I love how the mixture of wood veneer & glittered chipboard creates an obvious focal area around the photo!
Inspired by the title, I used snowflakes found in the exclusive Hip Kit ephemera pack, as well as from the Crate Paper ephemera pack & created a snowstorm! Layering each flake onto a vellum circle, gives the impression of a snowball, further supporting the feeling of a chill in the air and a swirling flurry!
The mixture of printed, punched, die-cut & 3D glittered flakes, really help add dimension, and machine stitching helps each flake stand away from the page with an interesting effect.
Collage a few ephemera pieces for the cutest snowglobe accent. Die-cuts slipped under the deer are almost invisible but add to the subtle texture.
Double matting & foam adhesive lift the photo off the page.
Using a bow cut-file from Zinia (found under downloads on our website), I cut a bow from cardstock & glittered the edges for a little sparkle.
I hope you like this page, as much as I do. It was such fun to put together!
Have a super day!
Beautiful and fun!
