Hi everyone, it’s Amy here sharing my Project Life pages for this week! At the end of every month I scrap, I like to include some monthly highlights or note some things that characterised that month. Sometimes I include photographs of special purchases, a new favourite food or a new habit or hobby. It’s a great way to use up those extra photographs that didn’t fit into other layouts and bring the month to a close.

I started by choosing some cards from the July Project Life Kit, picking those with white backgrounds to balance out some of my busier photographs. Because I was working with 3×4 pockets, I cut three of the 6×8 cards in half and arranged everything on the page so that the photos and journaling would be evenly spread. I printed my journaling directly into the blue and green card by running it through my printer. I usually print onto white card stock, but I thought the third page could do with a little more colour!

Next, I used the HKC Exclusive Vellum Washi Stickers to decorate one of the cards from each page. I trimmed each strip down and stuck two or three pieces along one side of each card so that they slightly overlapped. I love how the stickers are partly translucent making them great for layering! On top of the washi strips, I added Project Life High Five Chipboard Elements, Amy Tangerine Better Together Rubber Charms and HKC Exclusive die cuts.

To embellish the other cards and photos, I used an assortments of items from the July Embellishment Kit and July Project Life Kit. The Crate Paper She Blooms Gold Glitter thickers made the title really pop and I used HKC Exclusive Puffy Stickers and Project Life Gold Rub-On phrases to add the finishing touches. Another handful of pages completed quickly and easily thanks to this month’s Hipkits!

Thanks for stopping by! Happy scrapping everyone!
