Hello. It’s Anna here. Today I want to show You layout created with April 2016 kits.

When I received my april kits I thought that they would be perfect for scrapping some sleepy pictures. I was inspired by the stars and other “night” themes from Shimelle “Starshine” collection and exclusive paper designed by Kim Watson. I even had a perfect star cutfile to work with. All I was missing was a perfect picture.

I had this cute photo session of my newborn daughter Maja. I just had to choose one cute picture and turn it to black and white because I didn’t want to bring additional colors to my page and Maja was sleepeing on a vivid green blanket.

I wanted to create a night sky on my page so I decided to paint it by my own. I used a watercolors and a lot of water and I painted the Moon (or something similar 😉 )and the starry sky. When everything was dry I started to embelish my page.

First I created a composition behing my photo. I used a blue tissue-paper, that my kits were wrapped in. I added a piece of exclusive paper from Main Kit and stars cutted with Cameo. I also used few “Star shine” transparent stickers from Embellishment Kit.

Big “awesome” word it one of the Pinkfresh Studio acetate words from Main Kit. I used an alcoholic ink to paint it in some dark navy color.

“Star shine” paper clip and  word stickers from Project Life Kit were like a final touch to my page.

As You can see You do not need much to create a rich page.
