A Story in Four Pages | Amy Challis

HKC MAY BLOG

Hey everyone, it’s Amy here today. I wanted to share with you a series of pages I created to document the day I did the Race For Life in aid of Cancer Research UK. So many people are touched by cancer (Did you know that 1 in 2 people will develop cancer in their lifetime?) and the Race For Life is a great way to raise money and awareness. This year was the first time I’d taken part and I walked 10k with my mum, aunts and cousins. It was a lovely day to remember those who we’ve lost and enjoy spending time with the family we still have with us.

I used a combination of cards from the May Project Life kit and paper from the Main or Paper kits cut down to 3×4 size. I cut one of the 4×6 Project Life cards in half to make two cards which I then used on opposite sides of two facing pages.

I kept the embellishments simple, sticking mostly with the exclusive May ephemera and puffy stickers. I absolutely love that balloon! Enamel hearts from Bella Blvd – Illustrated Faith and Bella Blvd alpha stickers finished off my pages.

I slipped the number I pinned to my shirt for the race into a 6×8 pocket and – voila! A story told in four pages.

As always, thanks for stopping by!
