MAY GDT: THE TALENTED JEN SCHOW

Hey there! It’s Jen Schow with my final Guest Designer projects using the May Hip Kits. They are so gorgeous and I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to use all of those beautiful embellishments. 🙂
For this layout, I decided to do a little hand stitching. Well, a lot.

I used the awesome subscriber cut file as a template, laid it down on the patterned paper, poked all of my holes, and then got to work. These kinds of projects are great for binge-watching stuff on Netflix. You all know what I mean!

I know I said this with my first layout, but for some reason all of the bright colors in the May kits reminded me of Disney, so I had to scrap another Disney memory. I combined wood, chipboard, and the Jillibean Soup Beanboard Alphas with the stitched word Memories for my title.

I placed my photos in the rectangle and square openings and embellished around them.

My journaling ended up in one of the oval stitched frames.

I also created another birthday card using the Project life kit and it was SUPER simple.

Jen 06
I simply laid one of the Jillibean Soup placemats over a floral 3×4 card, rounded the corners, and added it to a white card base.
Jen 07
I embellished it simply with some alphabet stickers, staples, an enamel heart and a felt bow. I also outlined the placemat to help it stand out from the floral.

Thanks so much for the opportunity to create with these wonderful kits! I’ve had a blast!
