Hey there, friends!  Missy back with you, and I have another layout to share today using the 2016 May Hip Kits.  I decided to start with this bold and colorful Jillibean Soup patterned paper from the Main Kit and Paper Kit.  I enlarged one of Kim Watson’s cut files and measured it so my photos would fit perfectly in between the word “laugh.”  I went over the surrounding title area with white gesso and then some pink Shimmerz from my stash.  I backed the open title area with one of Kim’s exclusive papers and then traced around the edges with a black pen.  I initially began this layout wanting to use that big Jillibean Soup camera die cut from the Project Life Kit, so I made sure it was a part of the design.

I used some of the No Yoking Shimmerz from the April Color Kit as well as some Creameez from my stash to give this camera a bit of color.  I added a few of the exclusive feathers from the Main Kit to the side of it as well as a few of the Simple Stories wood veneer feathers.  I added pop dots behind it to give it some depth and added even more ephemera.  The She Blooms chipboard flower and exclusive leaves and flair button were the perfect touches here.

At first I wasn’t too sure about all this pink here, but I like how it turned out.  I think adding all the fun ephemera made it look so much better!  I added some tangled thread, a She Blooms flower cluster and a fussy cut Project Life card piece here.

I have been wanting to add those adorable tiny pink acrylic triangles to a layout, and this was the perfect spot.  I made them into arrows.

Here is one more close-up of the camera.  I truly am loving all of these exclusive pieces this month.  Everything is so creative and beautiful, and the Kims did a fabulous job putting it all together!

You guessed it….I have a process video for you!  I hope it inspires you in some way.  At first I had my doubts about this page, but I made it work in the end!
