Hi everyone!  I’m back on the Blog this week, to share a new layout, using the January 2016 Hip Kit & Add-On Kits.  I also used our January Sketch, as inspiration for my layout.  I decided to go a little more clean and simple on this page…or at least clean and simple for me!

I used White cardstock from the January Cardstock Kit, as my background.  I really wanted the photos and MME Journaling Cards from the January Project Life Kit to stand out.  The Journaling Cards were a perfect match to the January Sketch.  I started the layout by placing the cards, and then added machine stitching around the edge of each one.

Next, I added my photos and title.  I also kept the title simple and mixed the Crate Paper Love wood veneer from the January Main Kit, with the Studio Calico wood veneer alphas from the Project Life Kit.  I finished the layout, with several embellishments, placed throughout the grid design.
