Hello hello!! I hope you are enjoying a happy weekend and getting some crafting in ! I just received my January kit the other day, so today I have one last December kit share with you today.

I was lucky enough to take a trip to CHA a few weeks ago and truthfully, I go there to see my friends (ssh, don’t tell my husband). It is so special to have created friendships through this hobby and CHA is a perfect excuse to meet up.

We took this quick selfie one day at the show and I wanted to save that memory so I chose it for this page. I used Ashley’s sketch as a starting point for this page – was inspired by all the blocks for photos and instead, used some of the frames in the kits backed with pretty patterned papers. I love the fun word sentiments and layering some of the diecuts, rubons and enamel dots around those frames.

I used some scraps for this page too, waste not, want not! I used a scrap of that pretty yellow floral paper for the background and even a leftover diecut piece of pink cardstock layered to my background. I finished off the page by trimming out one of the frames from the patterned paper from the kit and added some watercoloring along the edges and over the words to create a title area.

Super simple and fun! I hope you are enjoying your December kits and are currently diving into January’s too!
