2016 by Kim Watson

Beautiful products, gorgeous colors & a year full of possibilities for our teenage daughter, were the catalyst for this vibrant page!

The 2016 journal card from the December 2015 PL kit became my title…all I did was fussy cut the 2016 & adhere it with foam squares for great dimension & extra height. Pieces of the Seven Papers washi tape booklet, found in the December 2015 Embellishment kit are a great way to add understated texture to a part of the page needing a little interest, like I did along the bottom edge.

A few die cuts & a little gold glitter add pretty detailing to the top right side of the 2016 title.

Sticking to my central page layout, I used a cardstock sentiment & printed chipboard banner from the Crate Paper ephemera as the next part of my conversational title.

The heart was fussy cut from the Crate Paper cut-apart paper found in the December 2015 Paper kit.I love how the blue is so contrasty against the yellow patterned paper.

A piece of a tag stamped with the date adds balance to the top left corner of the page. My journaling, typed onto paper strips follows the diagonal design of the blue striped papers; it is a great way to hide journaling in plain sight.

So glad you could join me today. I hope you have found some inspiration in my page. Have a great Monday!!
