Good morning HKC fans! Are you ready for the weekend?? I have lots of scrappy stuff planned, how about you?
March kits are on the way, which means I am trying to make some room in my kit stash. I have so much left from my February kits, that I thought I would whip up a few cards with some diecuts, scraps of paper and my watercolors!
This first card was made with a lot of the My Mind’s Eye diecuts in the kits this month. I really love the eye catching colors mixed with some softer watercolor look ones like in the balloon image! I made this one for my daughter who turned 6 this past week.

I really wanted to do something with that lovely Heidi Swapp washi tape and so I used it to build simple bases for my cards, on some white cardstock. I added in some watercolors to the white area and then either stamped or added an alpha title! Easy peasy.
These last cards I let my watercolors do the main work and then used more diecuts, and rub ons to finish off the cards! I am still experimenting with watercolors and I making cards helped me play a little!
I hope you are inspired to make a few cards with your kit leftovers. It really is a great way to kill a kit!
Make sure to check back in later for lots of inspiration with Kim Watson!
