When I get to work on a layout I like to have a plan. My plan does not have to be elaborate or completely thought out, but I do like to at least know what direction I am going in. This saves me time and streamlines the process.
For today’s layout I had decided that I wanted to do lots of layers. After printing out my pictures I went straight to work picking out papers and embellishments that I thought would both layer well and work with the colors in the photo. These are a few of the items from the February Main Kit that I picked out:
Along with a few bits and pieces from the package of ephemera, I chose to cut apart the journaling card sheet with the idea that I could tuck them in between the layers of patterned paper and possibly even use one as my title. Here is what I came up with.
Since I started with a plan, this layout came together pretty quickly-which in a household of three active kids is often a necessity! Wishing you a great week!
