Last weekend my family and I were on our way to dinner and it was one of those moments that made me so thankful for having such an amazing family. It made me feel at home! I knew straight away I wanted to scrap this photo as soon I could. When I saw the front door paper from We R Memory Keepers in the 2015 February Main kit I knew it would be a perfect fit. I teamed it with that super cool hot pink spot paper to bring warmth to my layout.
I added the photo to the centre of my layout and then added some of the chipboard and die cut elements from the 2015 February Embellishment Kit around the photo to keep the focus there.
I needed a little more yellow on my layout and as soon as I laid down that chipboard butterfly I knew it had to have a hand stitched trail. I love how the pops of yellow now draws your eye around the layout but doesn’t over shadow the all important photo and journaling.
