Happy Wednesday!Today I am sharing a few more projects by our Guest Designer, Amelie Mordret created with our August 2013 Hip Kit & Add-On Kits. This kit has an amazing collection of patterned papers from Echo Park, My Mind’s Eye, American Crafts, Fancy Pants, & Crate Paper. I especially love the addition of the chevron printed vellum. Layering vellum over a bold patterned paper tones it down a bit and keeps it from becoming the focus of your project.Amelie used the vellum on both her layout and her card, and I love the effect that it has on both projects. The vellum creates the illusion of water on her layout – which works perfectly with her photos. On her card, the vellum creates an airiness with just a hint of pattern.
