Lets Use a Cut File TO Make a Mini Book

Hello scrapbooking friends! Anya’s here today and I am so excited to share a mini book I created with the November Hip Kit and one of the cut files available by HKC. To create this mini book, first, I downloaded the Snow Globe cut file. Next, I cut twelve snow globe shapes from white cardstock. Then, I cut twenty-two pieces of snow globe shapes from patterned paper. These were slightly smaller to have a nice white border around them. And the last thing I cut was the pieces for the cover.

Want to create layouts like this? Our monthly kits include coordinated papers, embellishments, and supplies to bring your scrapbook pages to life.

After all of the cutting was done, I paired patterned paper pieces for each page spread and adhered them to the white cardstock background. For the cover, I pieced the die cut pieces to create the given snow globe with a Christmas tree, machine stitched the white outline and then decorated the cover with stickers, die cut pieces, puffy stickers and chipboard.

Now my album is ready to be decorated inside. Each page spread can be decorated as you go, or you can decorate all of them at once and add your photos later. I like to have a few page spreads fully decorated and leave some for later, to fit my photo need.

This is the fifth project I created with the Novermber Kit and I can’t wait to make more projects with it! It is for sure one of my favorite kits this year! Thank you for visiting Hip Kit Club blog! I hope you’ve been inspired by this mini book and will stop by again soon for more inspiration!
