Hello cardmaking friends! Anya’s here today and I am excited to share three cards I created using the same Skyline Die on each. I love using dies on my projects, especially the ones that can be used repeatedly. Today I am showing you three examples of cards with that same die. I absolutely love this die for its details and the quality. It gave me a perfect cut every time.

For the first card, I cut one piece with the Skyline Die from white cardstock and created a school themed card with it. All of the cards measure 4×6″. To make this card, I used two different pieces of patterned papers for the background and added a die cut piece where the papers connected. Then, I picked school related ephemera pieces and added them to the card with foam tape. Usind the alphabet stickers I added sentiment to the card, and finished it off with some puffy stickers.

For the second card I used blue and grey shades of cardstock from the kit to cut the same Skyline shape four times and added them to the background of the card in the ombre order. Bottom portion of the card was filled with a blue patterned paper, which was cut together with the branding strip. This card was decorated with silver foam shapes and a few foam sticker. The sentiment was created using the same alphabet set. These colors would work perfectly for Winter or Christmas themed cards as well.

I loved the ombre effect in the second card, so I decided to try it again in a different color csheme. Fot this card I used three die cut pieces and adhered them in the middle of the card. Using a simple circle die I cut a large window in a piece of white cardstock and placed it over the Skyline I created. Again, I used a lot of puffy sticekers to decorate this card and also added a pocket inside of the card to hold a gift card.

I hope you were inspired by today’s projects and will visit Hip Kit Club blog again soon for more inspiration! Also, if you haven’t checked latest HKC kits I highly recommend, since these kits are so inspiring and I always have another project in the process!
