Hello scrapbooking friends! It’s July and I have July’s Hip Kit all over my table, but I am happy to share a few layouts I created with the May Hip Kit! I always admire and appreciate all the techniques crafters use on their layouts, but at the same time, I am a big advocate for simple pages and stories to be told. Today’s layout was based on a patterned paper where the design of the page was already done for me.

To complete this page, first I trimmed the paper to add a grey border and stitched around it. Then, I added photos with a few layers to each pre-designated spot, printed journaling on a strip of white paper and decorated the layout with a few little details.
To make the lights around the grid pop, I added tiny dots of white Nuvo Drops. These little details add little dememnsion to our creations. Another way to add dimension is with the chipboard or foam stickers, and here I used them in a few different spots.
I would like to challenge you to create a layout using this patterned paper since completing a page will only take about 15 to 20 minutes, but you will have another story recorded and added to your own library of memories!
