Hello scrapbooking friends! Anya’s here today and I can not be happier to share another project with you today! Since my kids are out of school, I finally have more time for scrapbooking and memory-keeping! Another reason I am super excited is that I just recently created four layouts from the same Hip Kit and they are all totally different in subject: spring, beach, travel, and baby. I love HKC kits for their versatility!

My challenge for this layout was to use the film strip die and a fabric washi. I love the addition of both of those items on this layout. By cutting the film strip out of white cardstock I was able to add more texture, but keeping it clean at the same time. This particular element reminds me of time passing and I see myself using this die over and over again!

The fabric border was added at the bottom of my journaling block, which gave me a pop of color at the bottom of the page and a perfect spot to add those adorable puffy sticker birds, which I planned to use from the very beginning.

While working on the final details, I found a few more pieces that matched the color scheme of this page, and I was able to arrange them at the lower right side of the layout. It added a little balance and interest to that side. My favorite final touch here were the wood veneer shapes. So happy to have this story recorded and I can’t wait to create another one!
Thank you for visiting HKC blog and make sure to stop by again soon for more inspiration!
XOXO
