Hello crafty friends! I am back from a much-needed vacation and happy to be crafting again! I want to share a set of cards I created recently using the April Hip Kit. Must admit, that I fall in love with these kits more every month! One of my favorite items this time was a set of foam stickers. I picked those as the main focus for my cards and played around adding layers of fun.

Another element both cards share is a white piece I cut with a Viemaster die that came in the March Kit. I like how it comes off to the side, breaking the straight lines of card we are used to.
One tip I would like to share today is trying to change the direction in which you are used to build layers on your projects. Usually I start with the background first and then add more on top. When I was creating these cards, I started with the sentiment first, then I looked for an item to sit it on, and so forth. I really enjoyed this starting point and will use it more often.
