Let’s Use Stamps and Dies – Antonia Sherlock

Hello, Hip Kit Friends!

I’m sharing a double page layout I created using mixed media and the stamps and dies from the March 2024 Hip Kit. Here is my layout:

 

This layout was inspired with the theme of everyday life imperfection in the March kits… it has two sides to the story to tell: on the right side you can see a family photo that usually makes “the cut” for the album and on the left side shows you the “outtakes” – these are those imperfect photos that usually don’t end up in an album, but often tell the real story behind the “picture perfect”.

I used the Distress Oxides from the August 2023 color kit for the base of my pages – Saltwater Taffy and Squeezed Lemonade.

I layered my photos on top and added lots of embellishments alongside the photos – these included the viewmaster die cut pieces made with the Viewmaster metal die, lots of florals from the embellishment kit and some lovely leaves cut with the Floral & Frond Metal Die Set.

I finished the layout with adding the primary and secondary titles, and scattering some stamped images using the Pocket Life stamp set as well as some epoxy dots…

 

I hope you find my layout inspirational – I love little scattered bits and pieces on my layout and I think that this month’s Pocket Life stamp set is perfect to be used on scrapbook pages!
