Lets Use Metal Dies and Stitching

Hello memory keeping friends! Anya here today and I am excited to share my first project with the November Kit! December is a very busy month around here but I had so much fun making this layout. I started with a patterned paper with pretty wreath on it and stitched around the circle four times with slightly imperfect lines to emphasize the wreath pattern.

Want to create layouts like this? Our monthly kits include coordinated papers, embellishments, and supplies to bring your scrapbook pages to life.

Then, using a ruler I scored some straight lines in different length for my ornaments and added stitching here as well. Additional ornaments were scattered around the wreath.

But for my focal point on this layout I used a line of die cut Christmas trees. Using the die set from this months kit I cut that tree five times from white cardstock and then five times in different shades of solids. After adhering the detailed trees to the white background I randomly blocked each tree with colorful parts. This was so much fun and I can’t wait to use same idea on cards!

I finished this layout with silver snowflakes and tiny silver dots, as well as stamped berries and dots around the wreath. Hope you were inspired by today’s project and will make time for creativity this month!

Thank you for visiting Hip Kit Club blog and make sure to stop by again soon for more inspiration!
