Let’s Get Messy with Mixed Media

Hi everyone , Anke here with a new layout inspiration for Hip Kit Club featuring the November 2023 Hip Kits. I received my November Kits a few days ago and I created a mixed media layout with a sparkling star background and lots of fussy cut and die cut elements.

 

 

I started with the star background. Therefore I applied the “Stardust Butter” (a glitter texture paste), which is included in the November 2023 Holiday Color Extravaganza Kit,  on my layout using the “Night Sky” stencil from the June Color Kit.

 

 

Then I fussy cut lots of houses and tiny trees from the “Hip Kit Club Exclusive – Feeling Jolly – Home for the Holidays” paper. I also cut some small houses from white cardstock using the “October 2023 House Metal Die Set” and backed them with pieces of the “Hip Kit Club Exclusive – Essential Solids – Sparkle Blue Cardstock”, which is included in the November Cardstock Kit.

 

 

I arranged the die cut and fussy cut houses on my page and added my photo, which I framed with a frame from the “Feeling Jolly Chipboard Die Cuts” pack, which is included in the November Embellishment Kit.

 

 

I fussy cut some trees from the “Feeling Jolly – Colorful Forest” paper. To add dimension I layered the trees. Then I placed them on my layout.

 

 

I picked out some of the chipboard die cuts, which are included in the November Embellishment Kit, and added them to my page.

 

 

Then I added some puffy stickers – also included in the November Embellishment Kit – and two of the puffy phrase stickers, which you can find in the November Main Kit.

 

 

I finished with some silver stars from the “Cardstock Ephemera” pack, which is included in the November Main Kit.

 

 

I really like how the layout turned out. I hope you like it too and feel inspired to get out your kits and create a beautiful project.
