Hi everyone, Anke here with a new layout inspiration for Hip Kit Club. My September Kits are still on their way so I created a fun summer themed layout using the gorgeous August Kits.
The base of my layout is a large paper rosette, which I decorated with die cut and fussy cut flowers and leaves and lots of embellishments from the kits.
I cut three strips , 4 x 12 inches from the “Essential Solids – Sky Cardstock” , which is included in the August Cardstock Kit. Then I folded them. It’s a bit difficult to fold strips of this length, so I cut them in two pieces . That makes it much easier. I glued the pieces together, punched out two circles from the “Sky Cardstock” and made a rosette.
Then I fussy cut leaves and flowers from the “Sunshine & Lemonade – Wildly Good” paper. And I also cut leaves and flowers from the “Essential Solids – Jungle Green Cardstock”, which is include in the July Cardstock Kit and the “Essential Solids – Clementine, Tuti Fruti, Grapefruit and Lemonade Cardstock”, which are included in the August Cardstock Kit. Therefore I used the “August 2023 Layered Bright Flower & Leaves Metal Die Set”, the “February 2023 Hoop & Floral Metal Die Set” and the “October 2022 Metal Die Set”.
I placed the rosette on my layout and arranged the die cut and fussy cut flowers and leaves. Then I added photo and title.
You can find the alphabet stickers in the August Main Kit.
I picked out some cardstock die cuts and chipboard shapes – both included in the August Main Kit – and added them to my page. I also added one of the “Debased Faux Wax Seal Stickers”, which you can find in the August Embellishment Kit.
Then I chose some of the vellum stickers from the August Embellishment Kit, glued them on white cardstock, cut them out and added them to my layout.
I picked out more puffy stickers and then I pierced holes and added some hand stitching.
I finished with some of the “Multi Color Adhesive Pearls”, which you can find in the August Main Kit.
Here you can see my layout. I hope you like it and feel inspired to get out your kits and create a beautiful project.
