I am sharing a cute and delicate page created with the August 2023 Hip Kits !
I played with the Color kit which has two explusive stencils : Sunshine & Lemonade – Citrus and Lemon Vine 6×6 Stencils (I used this last one on my page), and two Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Full Size Ink Pads: Saltwater and Squeezed Lemonade.
I applied white textured paste on the stencil, let it dry completely and applied a mix of the two Distress Oxide Inks diluted with water on my background.
I selected a black and white photo, mounted it on tissue paper, adhesive foam and a few layers of 6×8 papers and pocket like cards (August Pocket Life kit), and centered it on my mixed media background.
I used the HKC Exclusive – Sunshine & Lemonade – Matte Gold Cardstock Layered Foam Alphabet Stickers for my title (August Main kit).
I created floral clusters around my photo with a mix of fussy cut flowers (HKC Exclusive – Sunshine & Lemonade – Wildly Good Paper), punched flowers out of Cardstock and black and white flowers (HKC Exclusive – Sunshine & Lemonade – Vellum Sticker Pack).
I also created a little banner with various die cuts from the August kits, handwrote my journaling and stamped the date.

Although very colourful, this page has a very soft and romantic feel to it. It is a beautiful example of the versatility of the August kits !!
