Hi everyone, Anke here with a new layout inspiration for Hip Kit Club, featuring the August 2023 Hip Kits.
For this layout I got the assignment to use one of our exclusive cut files, the “Summer Wreath”, which I cut from white cardstock. Then I backed the wreath with pieces of the “Hip Kit Club Exclusive – Sunshine & Lemonade – Color Club” paper.
Then I cut some leaves from the “Essential Solids – Lime Zest – Cardstock” , which is included in the August Cardstock Kit, using the “August 2023 Layered Bright Flower & Leaves Metal Die Set”. To add more texture I used the “August 2023 Honeycomb Texture Metal Die” and cut it twice from white cardstock. And finally I cut some blossoms from white cardstock and from the “Essential Solids – Tuti Fruiti Cardstock” , which is also included in the August Cardstock Kit. I added all these die cuts to my wreath to create more texture and dimension.
I layered my photo with a Pocket Life card , added two die cuts from the “Cardstock Ephemera” pack, which is included in the August Main Kit and placed it in the middle of the wreath. Then I added the title, one of the “Cardstock Layered Foam Phrase Stickers”, which you can also find in the August Main Kit.
I continued embellishing the layout with another word die cut and some of the chipboard die cuts, also included in the August Main Kit.
Then I added some of the puffy stickers, which are included in the August Embellishment Kit. I also picked out one of the “Debossed Faux Wax Seal Stickers”. These are also included in the August Embellishment Kit.
I chose some butterfly stickers, one from the “Layered Foam Phrase Stickers” pack and two from the “Vellum Stickers” pack. I glued the vellum butterflies on white cardstock and cut them out.
Before adhering the butterflies I pierced holes and stitched the butterfly trails.
Finally I added some of the “Multi Color Adhesive Pearls” from the August Main Kit…
…and some Nuvo Drops from my stash.
This is my finished layout. I hope you like it and feel inspired to use a cut file on one of your next projects.
