Hi everyone, Anke here with a new mixed media layout inspiration featuring the July Hip Kits. For today’s layout I used one of the stencils and the Magical Powder which are included in the July Color Kit . I also used the “July 2023 Tropical Leaves Die Set” and the “April 2023 Newsprint Texture Stamp”.

 

 

I started with the mixed media part and applied a bit of the Magical Powder on a sheet of foil. Then I added water and mixed the color with modeling paste. I applied the paste on white cardstock using the wave stencil which is included in the July Color Kit.

 

 

While the paste was drying I cut strips – 6 by 2,5 inches – from the “Hip Kit Club Exclusive – Sumer is Here – Escape” paper and rolled them. I glued the rolls on a piece of white  cardstock. That made it easier to handle them.

 

 

Then I took my mixed media paper with the waves and cut off the waves on top of the paper. Then I cut out more waves from the middle of the paper and placed the waves above, below and on top of the paper rolls .

 

 

I was asked to incorporate stamps and so I chose the “April 2023 Newsprint Texture Stamp” and stamped on both sides of the paper rolls using black ink. I also added a piece of tulle on both sides.

 

 

I layered my photo with a tag die cut from the “Hip Kit Club Exclusive – Summer is Here – Cardstock Floral & Tag Die Cuts” pack, which is included in the July Embellishment Kit and placed it on the paper rolls. Then I added one of the “Layered Dimensional Stickers” which you can find in the July Main Kit. I adhered everything and then I added more die cuts and some puffy stickers  from the “Summer is Here – Mini Puffy Shape Stickers” pack, which is included in the July Embellishment Kit.

 

 

For my title I chose a word die cut from the “Summer is Here – Chipboard Die Cuts” pack, which is also included in the July Embellishment Kit. Then I cut out some leaves from the “Hip Kit Club Exclusive – Essential Solids – Jungle Green Cardstock, which is included in the July Cardstock Kit,  using the “July 2023 Tropical Leaves Die Set”.

 

 

I arranged the leaves on my layout and added more floral die cuts and some puffy stickers.

 

 

I finished with some Nuvo Drops from my stash.
