I love the papers in the July Main Kit, and was inspired by the big sunburst paper. Pairing it with the pretty blue waves paper makes a perfect combo for a summer pool or beach theme.
I added yellow stitching to the sunbeam paper to add a little more texture, using the existing sunbeams as a guide.
I tore the blue paper into strips to create ‘waves’, curling the edges for more dimension. If you leave the edges open, then you can tuck in ephemera or chipboard pieces. So cute!
I like to add a cluster to an area around my photos. I love the different textures in the kits – perfect for layering.
The puffy stickers from the July main kit are amazing! The titles are large in a modern, bright font – perfect to offset against the cool colour of the background.
I added a further cluster to the bottom of the layout to keep things interesting. I mounted the ‘To Beach’ sign on a coffee stirrer and then layered the gorgeous acrylic, puffy and chipboard pieces to finish.
