Hi Hip Kit Friends! I’m excited to share my new layout featuring the bright, colorful July 2023 kits and a beautiful July stencil – Waves! I absolutely adore the July kits, with all the HKC exclusives and beautiful embellishments. I have all the details in a full process video linked below.

I used the beautiful Waves stencil from the July Color Kit for this layout. I combined that with the “Dip a Toe Teal” Lindy’s Magical powder. I added the color through the stencil using an ink blending tool to control the amount of liquid and pigment that I added. This helped me keep the lines and image from the stencil crisp and true to form. I went back and added splatters of the color to make it a little messier!

I used the same technique to add the Lindy’s “Teenie Weenie Bikini” from the July Color Kit through the sun stencil from my stash. The color is vibrant and full of shine!

I added patterned paper and lots of beautiful embellishments from the July Hip Kits to highlight and layer around, behind, and on top of my photos. I especially love the layered stickers full of super cute beach umbrellas and tropical flowers! I also enjoyed layering on the chipboard pieces to add great dimension to the layout!

I created the title from a chipboard piece from the embellishment kit and the cursive puffy stickers from the Puffy Shapes sheets. I love mixing print and cursive words to create a layered title!

I finished the layout by adding a few Nuvo Jewel Drops from a past Color Kit to look like splashes of water.
