Hi Hip Kit fans! It’s Natsuko Suzuki here sharing a mixed media layout using the 2023 June Hip Kits and a few Color Kits. Here is my layout.

 

 

I chose one of the subscribers cut files, the Floral Moon Cut file and cut it out with the Cave Dive Blue Cardstock. Those who subscribe to the kits can download it for free, and those who aren’t subscribers can get it here. For the background, I used the Snapshot Paper. I primed the paper with gesso before I sprayed the Snow Way Man Vibez Shimmering Mist. It’s easier to add water and move the ink around. Just make sure that the gesso is completely dry before adding anything. I also added Pixie Wings Nuvo Glacier Paste for some texture.

 

 

The June Alphabet Metal Die is amazing! I love that you can cut all the alphas at once, and the font matches with any types of layout. I decided to make two-color fonts and cut them out with the June Cardstock kit. I cut the light blue font in half and adhered it to the purple font. I popped the fonts up with tiny foam stickers for dimension.

 

 

I fussy cut flowers from the Floral Paper and made clusters along with the stars cut out from the cut file. I also added stitching to the background paper. I punched holes with a safety pin and used embroidery thread.

 

 

I love this beautiful cut file; it matches perfectly with the fussy cut flowers.
