It’s Petra de Vroege here with my latest layout as a guest designer.

I created this layout mixing the May Hip Kit and the February Hip Kit. The kits are perfect to mix and match. What I did is choose a primary color (in this case, pink) and picked the items matching from both kits.

I started with a circle out of a May design paper and adding the embroidery floss in a vertical way. It gives the layout extra texture which I always love. I also cut out the photo in a circle and picked the light blue chipboard frame from the February main kit.

I created a floral cluster next to the photo, using the February embellishment kit and the May embellishment kit. The flowers of the February embellishment kit are so pretty! Same for the wooden flowers, so delicate and pretty, I sure hope they will make an appearance in future kits!

After adding the title with the February main kit alpha, I added the stitched circle and finished with the super cute clouds from the May main kit. If you want to see the process, check out the video:
