Let’s Make a Mountain Scene

Hi Hip Kit fans! Natsuko Suzuki here to share a new layout using the June 2023 Hip Kits. I chose the Layered Mountain Scene Die Cuts from the Embellishment Kit. Here is my layout.

Want to create layouts like this? Our monthly kits include coordinated papers, embellishments, and supplies to bring your scrapbook pages to life.

On the back of the package of the die cuts, you will see an example of how to layer them. I decided to follow the example first. Once I placed them to the Vacay Orange cardstock from the Cardstock Kit, I cut a circle out of the Family Time Paper from the Paper kit and layered it on top. To make sure everything is visible and in place, I traced the sea die cut because I wanted that to be placed in the middle. I adhered it first with tape glue and then added foam stickers to the next die cut. I used thin foam to thick foam to add dimension to the scene.

I added two beautiful rub-ons from the Embellishment Kit. It includes 2 sheets (Black & Metallic) and sticks on the paper very smoothly and beautifully. I love it!

For embellishments, I used Chipboard Die Cuts from the Main Kit. I added foam to some of them too, to add some more dimension. Then I drew lines around the circle to add a stitch-like effect. It emphasizes the scene in the circle.

Here are a few more close-ups.

The Layered Mountain Scene Die Cuts are easy to create a lovely mountain scene, and I hope some of the tips inspired you in some way to create dimension with them.

Thank you so much for stopping by, and I hope you have a great week!

I will post a reel in my Instagram so you can see the process. Natsuko xxx
