Hello Hip Kit friends !

 

It’s Sophie back on the blog today !

 

I am happy to share this colourful page created with the May 2023 Hip Kits ! 

 

 

Today is Mixed Media Monday, and I got the chance to play with the HKC Exclusive – Wild Flowers – Mandala 6×6 stencil and the Shimmerz Paints from the May 2023 Colour kit. 

 

I watered down the inks on an acrylic block and with a brush, applied them on the Mandala stencil in three different placed on a thick white Cardstock. 

 

I let it dry, and stitched on each mandala with matching thread to complete my background. 

 

 

I used a big coloured photo, layered it with pocket cards, 6×8 papers from the May Pocket Life kit, tissue paper and adhesive foam, and centered it on my page. 

 

I used the GORGEOUS HKC Exclusive – Wild Flowers – Cardstock Layered Foam Alphabet Stickers from the Main kit for my title, and created three clusters of embellishments that are die cuts from the Main and Embellishment kits. 

 

 

 

I added three delicate butterflies (May 2023 Butterfly Metal Die Set) as the finishing touch.
