LET’S USE CUT FILES – ANKE KRAMER – MAY 2023 HIP KITS

Hi everyone, Anke here with a new layout inspiration for the Hip kit Club featuring the May 2023 Hip Kits. This is my  first layout made with the gorgeous May Hip Kits and I also used some of our exclusive May Cut Files.

I chose the “Floral Cluster” and the “Balloons” cut files and cut them from white cardstock. Then I backed the “Floral Cluster” with vellum and for the balloons I used the “Hip Kit Club Exclusive – Wild Flowers – Love Grows Here” paper.

I fussy cut flowers from the “Wild Flowers – Stroll in the Meadow” paper.

I wanted to have a frame on my layout, so I cut one of the “Decorative Borders” cut files four times from white cardstock, glued them together and sewed them onto my page.

I placed the “Floral Cluster” and my photos on the layout and added the “Balloons” and the fussy cut flowers.

I also cut out a tag from one of the cards, which are included in the May Pocket Life Kit, added an eyelet and some twine and tucked the tag behind the photos.

For my title I chose a die cut from the “Wild Flowers Cardstock Ephemera” pack, which is included in the May Main Kit.

I embellished the “Balloons” with two of the “Felt Cloud Stickers”, which you can also find in the May Main Kit  and adhered them with foam pads to add dimension.

Then I fussy cut some butterflies from the “Wild Flowers – Time for a Picnic” – paper. Before I adhered them, I pierced holes and added some hand stitching.

I continued embellishing the layout with another word die cut and two puffy stickers from the “Wild Flowers – Puffy Accent Stickers” pack, which is also included in the May Main Kit.

Finally I added some of the “Wild Flowers – Epoxy Stickers”, which are include in the May Embellishment Kit.

This is my finished layout.  I hope you like it and feel inspired to incorporate some of our cut files in your next project.
