Hi Hip Kit fans! Hope you are having a great week.

It’s Natsuko Suzuki and I’m here with a mood board challenge and my layout using the March Hip Kit.

I was inspired by the colors and the circle shape of the macarons.  The other assignment was to incorporate stamps and ink pads, so I used the stamp and inks from the March color kit, inks from the February color kit and stamps from the March Pocket Life kit. I also added some word stamps from the previous PL kits.

 

 

I stamped on the background first and cut out a bunch of circles from the Making Memories Paper.  Then I directly rubbed the ink pads to white smooth cardstock, stamped over them with black solvent ink and cut them out. I adhered the cut-out pieces on the stamped background and made a tone-on-tone effect. The inks colors so beautifully, they look like color cardstock!

 

 

I tore the leftover paper and adhered them on the left side. To add interest, I curled the edges.

 

 

I also added a piece of Pinkfresh Studio Chipboard Flair from the Main Kit and some Simple Stories Simple Vintage Life in Bloom stickers from the Embellishment Kit.
