LET’S USE CUT FILES | JANA EUBANK | MARCH 2023 HIP KITS

Today I’m sharing my first layout with the March Hip Kits. I am using an exclusive March Subscriber Only Cut File called ‘Oval Wreath +Florals’ as the starting point for this page and love the way that it came together. Check it out below!

I cut the oval wreath from black cardstock, then added white paint splatters to it before removing it from the cutting mat. Next, I backed the flowers with Taffy and Mango Puff cardstock (March Cardstock Kit) and the inside of the oval with the ‘Write Me a Letter’ paper.

I placed the oval on the purple watercolor patterned paper called ‘Simple Connections’. I fussy-cut the black sketch-style florals from the remaining pieces of the ‘Write Me a Letter’ paper and arranged them around the florals of the cut file.

The photos were matted with the purple ‘Macaroon’ cardstock from the Cardstock Kit. Next, I layered a Pocket Life card and several chipboard frames from the Embellishment Kit under the edges of the photos.

The Sticker Book from the Embellishment Kit contained a sheet of butterfly stickers. I added them to plain white cardstock then fussy-cut them out to sprinkle around the page.

For my title, I used the February ‘Love This’ cut file, then added a phrase sticker below it to read ‘Love This Moment’. I added the journaling inside the green frame.

Next, I stamped black ink droplets around the page using the Clear Stamps from the March Color Kit. I ended up cutting apart the inkblot stamps so that I would have more control and variety to the stamped images. I also added second-generation stamping in a few places.

Finally, I sprinkled more white paint over the stamped inkblots and then distressed some of them by patting the white paint with a paper towel. I LOVE the way this page turned out and it was so much fun to create!
