Hello Hip Kit friends !

 

It’s Sophie here and I am sharing my new layout for Mixed Media Monday !

 

This is my first page with the lovely May kits !

 

 

I had prompts of using hexagones and creating a masculine page today.  I had the idea of using one of the hexagones from the Nested Hexagon Metal Dies and use it as a stencil !

 

I  applied dry ink with a brush from the two Catherine Pooler Designs Premium Full Size Dye Ink Pad: It’s a Girl and Tiki Torch.

 

I machine stitched around each hexagon with white thread. Then I played with the beautiful Jen Hadfield Live & Let Grow Clear Stamps (May Embellishment kit) and stamped leaves directly on my background with black ink.

 

 

I fussy cut three frames out of the HKC Exclusive Together is Best Besties Forever Paper and placed them around my black and white photo. 

 

My title comes from the HKC Exclusive Together is Best Mixed Ephemera pack (May Main kit). I added labels and tags from the HKC Exclusive Tag & Label Die Cuts (May Pocket Life kit), puffy hearts and three stamped butterflies around my photo as well.
