Hello everyone, I’m excited to be back with you today & sharing my latest mixed media layout using the March 2022 Hip Kits

My starting point for this layout was the B-side of Pinkfresh Studio paper ‘Happy Place’. Once I’d fussy cut out a column from that I saw that it went best in a vertical orientation & that gave me the areas which to add my mixed media.
I mixed up some of the Shimmerz Ride the Tide (blue) & using the packaging technique added it in 3 areas. By adding more or less water to these inks you can vary the intensity thus giving you loads of shades!!! I splattered over the top with Shimmerz Sunny (yellow) both colors are out the March 2022 color kit
I adhered my vertical elements, border punched paper, fussy cut paper, pleated crepe paper & fussy cut title & then made my photo cluster at the bottom, adding some chipboard frames, fussy cut tickets & ephemera from the Pinkfresh die cut pack.
I further enhanced this cluster by die cutting a tag & tab using our exclusive metal dies
I added a bit of black stitching details to ground the layout & using the March 2022 color kit stencil I drew a few of the shapes, on my layout in certain areas, to look like arrows, pointing to the photo.
