Hello everyone. I’m up this Monday sharing a mixed media layout with you. My February kit has now reached me, & it’s gorgeous, but was still winging it’s way to me while I was making this layout so I’ve used the January 2022 hip kits.

I added a coat of clear gesso, to my white cardstock, to give me a good base as I wanted my inks to run & drip. I’ve used the Catherine Pooler inks, out of previous color kits & mixed them together to give me the colors I needed. They mix great together & also when splattered over the top give a fab oxide effect, which I love!!!
I added 5 colors, across the centre of the page & let them run & drip top & bottom by adding water & turning & tapping the page & drying each color before adding the next. I added splatters & machine stitching, in the same colors for each section.
I’ve then built my cluster, in the middle of the page, going in a diagonal direction adding chipboard frames, cardstock stickers, puffy stickers, cardstock ephemera, faux wood shapes & a fussy cut rainbow off the incredible patterned paper.
