Hi crafty friends! Michelle here on the Hip Kits Blog today. I am happy to show you my minialbum with matching sleeve today. To create this I used the gorgeous Hip Kit 2022 January Kits.
Want to create layouts like this? Our monthly kits include coordinated papers, embellishments, and supplies to bring your scrapbook pages to life.

First, I designed my mini album. For this I used the new metal dies from the January 2022 offer from Hip Kits. You can find the great nesting dies here (hexagonal) and here (round). I used both in my mini album. The big advantage of these dies is that I could easily choose a size to create the sleeve in the shape of a small purse later.

I created my mini album about a trip that we enjoyed a lot. For the cover I used the also metal dies from Hip Kit, you can find these gorgeous kaleidoscope metall dies right here. The heart I have cut out several times and then glued all the hearts on top of each other to get this beautiful three-dimensionality. The album is held together by a blue ribbon from my Stage.

For the album and also the sleeve I used the papers from the January 2022 Kit from Hip Kit. On every second album page, I created an insert where I alternately inserted round circle inlays or tags with small texts or photos on the back. On the opposite page I have each photo backed with colored paper and decorated with the beautiful embellishments included in the kit.
In between, I inserted transparent pages for which I used the overlays that are also part of the kit. I punched them out using the awesome metal dies in various sizes as well.

For a little more variety, I used the autumnal metal leaves dies from Hip Kit Ocober 2021 Kits, which you can find here, and a few more border punches from my Stage. I also like the black and white twine that I attached to the tags, as it provides a nice contrast.

After I finished designing my album, I turned my attention to the cover. I used as already said, for this simply again the same metal dies, in a larger size. A paper strip holds the two hexagons together, which is sized so that my mini album can be nicely inserted. I added a paper handle to the lid, so that now a nice bag look is created.

Thanks for stopping by here on the Hip Kit Club blog. I hope you enjoyed my inspiration and I wish you a great crafty Saturday.
I wish you a beautiful, creative Sunday! Thank you for stopping by.
Best, Michelle
