Hey everyone! Suzanne here to share my take on this week’s Friday challenge. This week, we are taking on the beautiful sketch created by the amazingly talented Anke Kramer!
I am admittedly a “sketch phobic” scrapper, therefore, I’ve decided to stick fairly close to the original design.
Our design team prompt for the challenge was to use embellishments in an unusual way. I used one of our exclusive metal die sets to create the “hexagon” design in the die-cut heart. The original shape of the die is a heart, but you can’t really tell because it’s nestled between the torn edge layers.
I’ve used several pieces of ephemera from different kits. I love how everything works in perfect harmony which makes it super easy to intermingle the kits!
The die-cut heart and title are both HKC exclusives! The exclusive files are always so creative fun! The color ink spray is a Shimmerz Vibez included in this month’s color kit.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you’ve enjoyed my take on today’s beautiful sketch!
