Hello everyone, today I am showing you a layout that only uses the PL kit. The design team prompt was to use elements in an unexpected way. I cheated a little bit because I also utilised the stencil from the mixed media add-on to show you a different way to use it. Usually what we do with a stencil is to put colour or paste through it but I just wanted the snowflake part. With a black fineliner pen I traced the snowflakes onto my background cardstock, an extra piece of white cardstock and a few of the PL cards. These extra shapes were then fussy cut to create more texture on the layout.

Since everything was situated on the lefthand side of the layout I decided to highlight this edge by placing down some of the die cut tags and word stickers. For extra interest I threaded some delicate string through the tags.
Then I placed my photo at an angle on the lower left part together with the title and journaling. The cut out snowflakes were arranged in a “random” fashion. I filled some of the gaps with little fussy cut stars / snowflakes from one of the PL cards, some tiny chipboard stickers and a few Nuvo drops.
